           3D Blitz is an event created as a tribute to the 3D Foundations class. In four weeks you learned how to pre-pro, model, rig, animate, shade / light, and render a 3D scene. Cram all of that down into 24 hours and you have the birth of 3D Blitz.

 

           Come join the fun starting on June 22nd 1pm, and blaze through the CG pipeline until the submission deadline on June 23rd.

 

           A theme for the event will be drawn at 1:55pm, and the official start of the event will occur at 2pm. Get there early to make sure you have a seat, power, and the life line for any computer guru, internet connection.

 

           At 2pm you will have 24-hours to create your masterpiece. No teams, no premade assets; only what you had when you first started 3DF, a computer with Internet.

 

           This event isn’t about beating the person next to you, or winning a grand prize. 3D Blitz is strictly you verses your 3DF self. You know you have gotten better, but how much better? Find out at the first ever 3D Blitz event.

 

           There will be pizza after files have been submitted, 2pm June 23rd. All submitted files will be viewed, through the projectors in the auditorium, starting at 3pm June 23rd. That’s right. Your work on the big screen!
